Team Dorset Athletics Network (TDAN) supports six major Dorset athletics clubs (Bournemouth AC, Dorchester AC, Poole AC, Poole Runners, Weymouth St Paul’s Harriers & AC and Wimborne AC) in coach and athlete development, the recruitment of volunteers, facilitating satellite clubs across the county, increasing sporting participation and encouraging inclusive athletics. Four of the six clubs (Dorchester AC, Poole AC, Poole Runners and Wimborne AC) form a composite Team Dorset team which competes in various track and field leagues.

The Team Dorset Composite Team is comprised of athletes from Dorchester AC, Poole AC, Poole Runners and Wimborne AC and competes in two track & field leagues: UK Youth Development League (for Under 13s and Under 15s) and Southern Athletics League (for Under 17s, Under 20s, Seniors and Veterans).
